All-in-one navigation app Savvy Navvy has updated its charts to alert users to avoid using the water and beaches in the Poole Harbour area following the oil spill incident earlier this week.
“We are so sad to hear about this incident and wanted to swiftly update our charts to let users know about the ongoing situation. Hopefully our clearly marked ‘No swimming’ zones will help boaters be vigilant and spread the message while the incident is in progress,” says Jelte Liebrand, Founder & CEO of Savvy Navvy.
For official updates about the incident follow Poole Harbour Commissioners on their site.
